Columbus, MN — Running Aces Casino & Racetrack is pleased to announce a number of featured events coming up in the months of June and July.

Father’s Day weekend will offer some fantastic racing, as we present the $20,000 Running Aces Featured Trot on Saturday (June 16) which is an Open event, and will feature the best local trotters along with any challengers that would like to take a shot at the impressive purse.

On Father’s Day (Sunday, June 17), the best local pacers will be ready to take on any challengers in the $20,000 Running Aces Featured Pace (also an Open event).

Entries for both of these races are due in the race office by 10 a.m. on Wednesday (June 13).

In July, as part of our Dan Patch weekend featuring the $50,000 Dan Patch FFA final, we are happy to present two more exciting and lucrative races: The $25,000 Minnesota Preferred Pace and The $25,000 Minnesota Preferred Trot, to be raced on Saturday (July 21).

Entries for these races are due in the race office by 10 a.m. on Wednesday (July 18).

These two races give preference to Minnesota sired or Minnesota owned horses, but are open to any horses should there be less than nine Minnesota entries in either race.

Running Aces continues to strive to present quality racing on a day in, day out basis, and present exciting featured events throughout the season, which runs through Sept. 15.
