Columbus, MN — Running Aces Harness Park has announced a racing dates change for the next two weeks.

The new Minnesota track will be dark on Monday, June 16, and Monday, June 23, but will have live race programs on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17, 18, 24 and 25, beginning at 6:30 p.m. (CST).

The additional two days of racing will allow Running Aces to complete 50 days of racing, the state mandated minimum to open its state-of-the-art cardroom casino, on Monday, June 30.

When the cardroom opens it will feature 25 poker tables and 25 other table games such as blackjack, 3-card poker and pai gow.

When Running Aces completes its final three racing programs of the inaugural 2008 meet on the July 4-6 weekend, it is expected that the cardroom will be fully operational.
