Shakopee, MN — The Minnesota Racing Commission has received 2015 live race day requests from Canterbury Park Holding Corporation and Running Aces Harness Park.

Canterbury Park is requesting 70 days of live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing from May 15 to Sept. 12. Each day’s program will include between eight and 15 races. Post times will be 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays; 12:45 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays in August and 4 p.m. on July 3.

Running Aces Harness Park is requesting 53 days of Standardbred harness racing from June 6 to Sept. 12. Each day’s program will include between eight and 11 races. Post times will be 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Racing Commission is holding a public hearing on these requests on Thursday (Nov. 20) at 3:45 p.m. at the University of Minnesota Leatherdale Equine Center, 1801 Dudley Avenue, St. Paul, MN.

The Racing Commission will consider these requests at its November meeting, which begins at 4 p.m. on Nov. 20 at the University of Minnesota Leatherdale Equine Center, 1801 Dudley Avenue, St. Paul, MN.
