from Running Aces Harness Park
Columbus, OH — Running Aces will be requesting to add six days of racing from the Minnesota Racing Commission to replace the 12 days lost during the government shut down.
These dates are August 28, 30, 31 and September 3, 4, along with a special showcase of Minnesota-bred races on Labor Day, September 5.
“We feel that our racing offers a fun and unique setting that can compete with the best summer activities this area has to offer,” said Aaron Bedessem, Director of Marketing at Running Aces. “You can watch the races for free, eat an inexpensive meal, and have a cold beer outside. What is better for a Minnesota Summer evening.”
The new race dates will have a first post time of 7 p.m. with the exception of Labor Day’s races starting at 5 p.m. with the Minnesota State Championship Day with all Minnesota-bred horses racing.
