Vernon, NY — A racing under saddle organizational meeting has been set for 3 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 15) at Michelle Crawford’s home in Vernon, N.Y.

Anyone who wants to participate in RUS NY events are encouraged to attend as we will be electing officials and making some very important decision as we plan for the 2015 racing season. Not only will we be planning fair events, but we are working with some pari-mutuel tracks as well and need as many involved as possible.

Crawford resides at 4444 Peterboro Street (what used to be the old law office). Those who can not physically attend are encouraged to contact Michelle Miller at mnmiller84@gmail.com with their e-mail, phone number and Skype name. We want to be able to include as many people as possible.

If you do not have Skype we may be able to figure out an alternative way to get you involved so please contact Miller as soon as possible. There will be a test group Skype to make sure things are working at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

We do not only need committed owners, trainers and riders to get involved, but need people who are just enthusiastic about the sport and want to help. Anybody can become a member of the group.
