Ft. Washington, MD — Russell Foster has always shined driving his own open pacer Hi Sir at Rosecroft Raceway. Now, it seems the 26-year-old driver is shining on everything he sits behind.

Tuesday night (March 22), he posed for six pictures in the winner’s circle on the 13-race card. Included in his wins was a 21-1 upset with Arpeggio Hanover. Foster squeezed alertly through a hole with an eighth of a mile remaining and pulled off a pari-mutuel surprise.

Foster leads the standing with 13 wins over five nights, with Pat Berry one behind with 12. Sean Bier posted four wins over his first two nights of driving, scoring an impressive win in the finale with Bridge Jumper in 1:52.4.

Rosecroft will be dark Easter Sunday and resume next Tuesday at 6:40 p.m.
