Saddle up for the SRF

by Gen Sullivan, for the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Hamilton, NJ — Show your support for the Standardbred Retirement Foundation by joining the National Rescue Ride on October 19!

On that day, horse lovers from across the country are saddling up to ride (or walk) in the National Rescue Ride to support the equine charity of their choice. The SRF ride will take place in beautiful Colliers Mills near Great Adventure theme park in Jackson, NJ. But if you join us for that ride, it’s easy to support SRF by joining any of the 90 other registered rides across the country.

As we support more horses than ever before and the unwanted horse issue gets more and more critical, we hope you will come out and help us help the horses on this great day.

Signing up is easy. Just go to www.nationalrescueride.org and sign on with any listed charity as an SRF rider or walker. Click on “Find A Ride/Registration.” Charities are listed alphabetically, just scroll down to find SRF. Registration is only $20 per rider and payable at registration. Each registered rider receives a beautiful National Rescue Ride t-shirt to commemorate the first ever day of its kind.

We want you to saddle up and ride for SRF. Please join us and show your support. When you ride/walk for SRF with another charity, SRF and the hosting charity will split the funds you raise equally. All sponsorship money will be made out to National Rescue Ride, not to either charity. This will automatically print on the sponsorship pledge form. The rider/walker will present the money at the ride and the charity will forward it to NRR where the funds will be split equally and returned to each of the two charities, less $20.

For more information or questions about how to join any of the SRF rides please e-mail gen@srfmail.com or call (609) 324-1500.

Riders and walkers from across the country are still stampeding to join. So on October 19, in the saddle or in your sneakers, join SRF as part of the nationwide campaign to help America’s abused, neglected and unwanted horses by being a part of the National Rescue Ride!

And remember SRF has lots of beautiful horses looking for a great place to call home. It’s all part of helping America’s horses!
