Say You Do powerful, determined in Meadows feature

Washington, PA — A strong uncovered move carried Say You Do to the lead, and his determination late secured the victory in Friday’s (March 26) feature at The Meadows, an $11,000 conditioned trot.

Say You Do attacked first over from third for Hunter Myers and eyeballed the leader, Tequila Talkin, who then made a break. But Say You Do wasn’t home free as he faced challenges from Tricky Nick outside and Rising MVP in the Lightning Lane. The 6-year-old Kadabra-Sno Doubt About It gelding dug deep and held off Tricky Nick by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:54.3, with Rising MVP a close-up third.

Ethan Sisco conditions Say You Do, who lifted his lifetime earnings to $222,983, for Oldford Racing.

Brady Brown, Dave Palone, trainer Ron Burke and Myers each collected a double on the 13-race card.

One winning ticket took down the Super Hi-5, returning $12,816.34.
