Scarborough, ME — Due to the continuing horse shortage in New England, the upcoming card for Friday (May 1) at Scarborough Downs has been canceled.

This marks the fifth consecutive Friday that insufficient entries have resulted in cancelation.

Live harness racing will be conducted at the Downs on Saturday, Kentucky Derby Day, at a special 2 p.m. (EDT) post time and on Sunday with a 1:30 p.m. post time.
