Washington, PA — The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will offer live racing Friday as scheduled, but predicted frigid temperatures have forced the cancelation of the live card for Tuesday (Jan. 7).

Live racing will be added on Thursday (Jan. 9), originally a dark day.

The modified schedule for next week is as follows:

• Monday (Jan. 6) — Live racing, first post 12:55 p.m.

• Tuesday (Jan. 7) — Live racing canceled.

• Wednesday (Jan. 8) — Live racing, first post 12:55 p.m. The card will be the program originally drawn for Tuesday. Horsemen may scratch up to 3 p.m., Friday.

• Thursday (Jan. 9) — Live racing, first post 12:55 p.m. The card will be the program originally drawn for Wednesday. Horsemen may scratch up to 10 a.m., Monday.

• Friday (Jan. 10) — Live racing, first post 12:55 p.m.
