Columbus, OH — Eldorado Scioto Downs has announced a 10 percent across-the-board purse increase, effective Tuesday (July 12).

In 36 days of racing this season, Eldorado Scioto Downs has paid out over $8 million in purse monies and taken 6,364 entries. An average of 15 races go behind the gate to compete for approximately $221,000 in total purses per day.

Live racing will continue to follow a Tuesday-through-Saturday schedule through Sept. 17, with a daily post time of 3:15 p.m. A special holiday card is also scheduled for Labor Day on Sept. 5. For more information on the facility and live racing season, visit the Eldorado Scioto Downs website.
