Scott Coulter notches 4,000th win

Elora, ON — Scott Coulter joined an elite group of drivers on Monday (Aug. 25), notching his 4,000th career win at Grand River Raceway in Elora.

Scott Coulter notched his 4,000th career win on Aug. 25 at Grand River Raceway.

The Brantford, Ontario, reinsman reached the milestone in race 10, aboard race favorite X E Hanover.

The pair started the race from post seven and circled the field to finish a half-length ahead of Fastimes in 2:01.4.

The race also marked X E Hanover’s first season’s win for trainer Randy Boyce, who co-owns the trotter with Gregory Boyce.

Coulter, 44, is currently second in Grand River Raceway’s top driver standings. He’s eighth in the national standings with 154 wins and is quickly approaching $25 million in career purse earnings.
