Second-leg Buckeye Stallion Series action Tuesday at Scioto

Columbus, OH — On Tuesday afternoon (July 17), 43 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings will race at Eldorado Scioto Downs in the second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series.

In race two, Van Diesel (Dragon Again-Mayan Moose) will be back to try to take the win after finishing second in the first leg on July 5. Big See (Big Bad John-Eagle See) will make his third start after placing second at Circleville on June 16 and winning at Wilmington on July 8. This will be Dragon Force’s (Dragon Again-Upfront Bad Girl) first start.

In race three, Yankee Boots (Yankee Cruiser-Boots N Saddle) will be back after winning in the first leg on July 5. Excavator (Pet Rock-My Fave Wave) won at Circleville on June 16. Black Hole (Mr Apples-Feel the Thunder) is also back, after two previous wins this summer: June 16 at Circleville and the first leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series on July 5. Akron (McArdle-Western Top Cat) also has two wins this summer, prevailing at Ottawa on June 27 and at Bellefontaine on July 11, and is looking to add the Buckeye Stallion Series to his win list.

Woody Woodpecker (Woodstock-Townline Rosanna) is in race five after he won at London on July 8. Zip Zip Will (We Will See-Zip Zip Boom), Friskiesonaroll (Feelin Friskie-CC Biggirl Bretta) and Rockette Baby (Big Bad John-O Narutac Rockette) are all return starters from first-leg action from July 5.

Runhappy Ten (Pet Rock-Sister JJ) will be in race seven. He has a win from Northfield on July 11. McAir (McArdle-Air Guitar Hanover) will be back after placing second in the first leg on July 5. The Golden Belt (Feelin Friskie-Miamanda), following a win at Bellefontaine on July 11, will also be in the seventh.

The final second-leg race for 2-year-old pacing colts will be race 11. Beach Camo (Beachtrea-CG’s Gem) is back from his win in leg one. Hulking (Pet Rock-Princess Cruiser) will also be in race 11 after winning at Bellefontaine on July 11. Irish Storm (Yankee Cruiser-Calvados Hall) is prepared to make his first start in this leg too.

The Buckeye Stallion Series this week at Eldorado Scioto Downs also includes 3-year-old trotting fillies and 2-year-old trotting colts and geldings on Wednesday (July 18) and 2-year-old pacing fillies on Thursday (July 19).
