Manalapan, NJ — New Jersey’s Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher will help to spotlight the state’s Month of the Horse celebration with an appearance at Showplace Farms on Tuesday (June 11) at 11 a.m.

The event was originally scheduled for Friday (June 7), but rescheduled because of the stormy weather in the forecast.

Showplace Farms is located at 505 Route 33 in Millstone, N.J.

Fisher will tour the Standardbred training facility to highlight the importance of the state’s equine industry in coordination with June’s Month of the Horse. The horse is the official state animal in New Jersey.
