Four Standardbreds seized by animal control officers in Warren County, New Jersey are available for adoption.

The horses, two mares, about 13 and 14 years old and two unhandled, unregistered yearlings, a colt and a filly, are among a group of Standardbreds formerly owned by KC Tom. The horses were seized by Greenwich Township Animal Control Officer Amanda Wojcik; two horses in the herd died of starvation-related causes and two have already been placed for adoption.

The horses are being placed without papers. To contact Ms. Wojcik, call her at 908-859-3045 before 3 pm and at 908-619-2830 after 3 pm. Warren County is in the northwest corner of the state.
