Seller signatures for sale horses

Columbus, OH — Most sales are now utilizing the USTA’s eSales program which allows registered owners to electronically sign off as seller instead of submitting a signed application for transfer that needs to be mailed or faxed to the sale office.

Sellers can sign into their USTA MyAccount and then just above the My Horses section, click on the blue “Seller Signatures” link. This will take you to a page that has all of your consigned horses listed and you can click “Release” to electronically sign off as seller (or Reject if you are withdrawing your horse).

The following sales are currently accepting electronic seller signatures for registered owners with current USTA membership: Lexington Selected Sale (Oct. 5-9); Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale (Oct. 12); Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale (Oct. 22-33) and The Black Book Sale (Nov. 8-10).

Please note that if your consigned horse has hard copy registration papers, you must still return those papers to the sale office, even if you sign off electronically as seller.
