Services announced for Tom Izzo

Columbus, OH — Services have been announced for Tom Izzo, the Harrah’s Philadelphia paddock security officer who died suddenly before the races on Dec. 11, 2014.

Visitation will be held this Saturday (Dec. 20) from 12-1:30 p.m. at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. A eulogy will follow immediately afterward.

Mr. Izzo had been with Harrah’s Philadelphia for eight years and was part of the team that opened the facility for its first-ever day of live racing on Sept. 10, 2006. He was popular among both horsemen and colleagues for his personable nature and dedication to his job.
