Yonkers, NY — Seven 3-year-olds were entered Tuesday for the 57th edition of Yonkers Raceway’s Yonkers Trot, first jewel of the Trotting Triple Crown.

The one-dash-for-the-cash event, worth $445,474, goes next Saturday, July 9.

Entrants, in alphabetical order, are Bambino Hall, Celebrity Bombay, Del Cielo, Evil Urges, Leader Of The Gang, Live Jazz and Pegasus Blue Chip.

The Trot’s companion event, the Hudson Filly, attracted seven sophomore ladies. It, too, is a single sprint — worth $237,714 — also set for July 9.

The contestants, again in alphabetical order, are Angelette Hanover, Cabaret Princess, Creme De Cocoa, Iron Lady, Jezzy, Lady Rainbow and Thatsnotmyname.

Post positions for both races shall be drawn Wednesday (July 6) at a Raceway press luncheon. Additional information on both races is to be available shortly.
