Sharron Schroh, 68, dies

Columbus, OH — Sharron M. Schroh, 68, of Ossining, N.Y., died at her home on July 22, 2011. She was the wife of Yonkers Raceway associate judge William Schroh.

Mrs. Schroh was born October 14, 1942, to Charles and Edith (Garrett) Carey. She was educated at St. Joseph’s School For the Deaf, Bronx, N.Y., and The New York School for the Deaf, White Plains, N.Y. She graduated in 1961 and then went to work for Reader’s Digest.

On June 4, 1966, she married William Schroh at St. Augustine Church in Ossining, N.Y.

Mrs. Schroh is survived by her husband, William; son, William Jr. (Lynne); daughter, Patricia (Richard); grandchildren, Emma, Theodore, and Aidan; mother, Edith; siblings, Timothy, Kathleen, Charles and Peter; and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her father, Charles; and brothers, Michael and Richard.

Visiting hours will be at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining, N.Y., on Monday (July 25) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be offered Tuesday (July 26) at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Ossining, N.Y. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
