Somwherovrarainbow qualified on Thursday at Freehold in 1:54.2.

Somwherovrarainbow, who has won six of 14 races this year and earned $376,329, won her qualifier by nearly 24 lengths in 1:54.2 around Freehold’s half-mile oval. She has hit the board in her first 10 starts of the season, but went 0-for-4 after adding Lasix and appeared to suffer from an electrolyte imbalance in her most recent race, a seventh-place finish at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Aug. 22.

In April, Somwherovrarainbow won the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series championship at Yonkers. In June, she finished second to Anndrovette in the Roses Are Red Stakes at Mohawk. She has won 18 of 39 lifetime starts and earned $1.26 million. She is owned by Ted Gewertz and Diamond Creek Racing.

Shebestingin won her qualifier by 40 lengths in 1:53.4. She has won three of 10 starts this year, including the Chip Noble Memorial in May at Miami Valley Raceway, and earned $70,320. She also has raced her last four starts on Lasix. She won the first, but has since finished off the board.

For her career, Shebestingin has won 18 of 32 races and earned $750,522. She is owned by Val D’Or Farms, Ted Gewertz, and L&L DeVisser.

David Miller drove both Somwherovrarainbow and Shebestingin.

“They went fine,” Holloway said. “We weren’t looking to do anything in particular other than get a good charted line on them. I don’t know when their next starts will be.”
