Woodstock, VA — Shenandoah Downs will accept entries for both opening weekend cards — slated for Saturday (Sept. 16) and Sunday (Sept. 17) — on Wednesday (Sept. 13) between 7:30-9 a.m.

Director of Racing Mike Wandishin is encouraging horsemen to enter their horses electronically if possible, or to call him at 302.509.1861.

The draw for Saturday will take place on Wednesday, and Sunday’s draw is on Thursday.

Virginia Breeders’ 2-year-old championship races will highlight action on opening day. Post time for both performances is at 1 p.m.

The track is located in Woodstock, Va., at Exit 283 off I-81.
