Dover, DE — Shes Pukka N dominated the $16,000 Select Fillies and Mares at Dover Downs on Wednesday night (Dec. 30).

Tony Morgan left alertly off the gate with Shes Pukka N and took no prisoners as he parked VH Princess Brea for a half-mile. Shes Pukka N set fractions of :27, :54.4 and 1:23.3. Nearing the three-quarter pole, Anytime N and Rockn Philly circled three wide as VH Princess Brea tired. But their attempts were in vain.

Shes Pukka N remained stubborn in the stretch and won convincingly by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:52. Edge Of Eternity sat the pocket and finished second for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. and driver Art Stafford Jr. Feeling Sweet finished third for trainer Joseph Columbo and driver Mike Cole.

The winner was sent off at odds of 7-2. Shes Pukka N (Betterthancheddar) is owned by Peter Paul Venturini. Brian Malone trains and Tony Morgan drove.
