Toronto, ON — The connections of 69 colts made the April 15 sustaining payment to this year’s C$1.5 million Pepsi North America Cup and remain eligible to North America’s richest race for pacers.

Only 20 colts have dropped off the NA Cup trail since initial payments were made on February 15.

Headlining the group is Metro Pace champion Sportswriter along with Breeders Crown winner All Speed Hanover. Other highly-regarded colts who were kept eligible include Malicious, One More Laugh, Rock N Roll Heaven and Delmarvalous.

The April 15 sustaining payments were also made for WEG’s other major stakes events such as the C$1 million Canadian Trotting Classic, C$1 million Metro Pace and C$850,000 Canadian Pacing Derby.
