Yonkers, NY — On June 15, Jim Marohn Jr. drove second favorite Ourlittlegeneral A, trained by Michael Annunziata, to victory at Yonkers Raceway in race four to pick up career win number 5,000.

Jim joins his father, Jim Marohn Sr., in the 5,000 win club as his father won 5,358 times during his 38-year career.

Jim Jr. began driving in 2002 and in his 20 years of driving has amassed $38.8 million in earnings in 32,441 starts. Jim’s career high in wins came in 2017 with 496 and his best year in earnings was 2018 with $5.28 million.

In 2020, Jim ranked fourth at Yonkers Raceway in starts (1,125), wins (133) and earnings ($2.32 million).
