Yonkers, NY — The 2018-19 SOA of NY/Yonkers Raceway scholarship applications are now available.

The scholarship offers a first place prize of $5,000, a second place prize of $3,000 and a third place prize of $2,000.

Applicants must be a 2018 SOA of NY member in good standing or a backstretch employee covered by the SOA of NY welfare plan or a member of the immediate family of either.

The scholarships are awarded for an accredited program of study leading specifically to a degree or certification beyond the high school level.

Awards will be based on merit and financial need.
