Soho is favored in Monday’s Preferred Pace at Dover.

A career winner of $519,210 for Schoor-TH Stable and Val D’or Farms, Soho left fast last week for Kevin Sizer and controlled the pace in recording his second win in three starts. Wendy Crissman and Jack Wilkes’ Monsoon Hall enjoyed a two hole trip for most of the mile with Ricky Still at the controls and finished second. Fast finishing Cambest Prince, owned by Sam Jacobs and Charles Burris, Jr., came on for recent arriving driver Greg Grismore to finish third.

The other starters in the select six horse field are Forrest Bartlett’s Shark Sation, piloted by George Dennis, a 1:523 winner of this event the previous week, Racsan Nuke, owned by Don Hawk, John Hynansky and trainer Dan Warrington, who leaves from the rail with Steve Warrington and Howard Taylor, Harness The Power, Gemini Racing and trainer-driver Mark A. King’s Beecher Park, who was plagued by road trouble last time out.

There are two new faces in this week’s $25,000 Delaware Special, John Hynansky and Brooks Stables’ Getaway Hall (Kevin Sizer) and Mitch and Pearl Fisher’s Future Treasure.

Last week Rodney Mitchell’s Bedrock CafĂ© N (Kenny Mitchell) powered along the passing lane to win this event, nipping Gary and Barbara Iles’ Crew Cut Zach (Brad Hanners) with Todd Wise’s The Devil Himself (Travis Bowman) a strong third.

Not to be overlooked are Wendy Crissman’s Kilowatt (Ricky Still), who leaves again from the outside, Griffin Conley’s fast finishing C’mon C’mon C’mon in the hands of Hal Belote and Macbest, owned by John Veazey and Jeff Fuller, with George Dennis driving.

Ashley’s Big Guy (Brad Hanners), winner of the $250,000 Pacing Classic in November, drops down to the $17,500 Winners Over Pace and starts from the outside in an eight horse field with Adel Price and Joel Kravet’s Magic Who (Ross Wolfenden) drawing post one.

Ron MacArthur’s Cocky Cam Shark (Vic Kirby), Wayne Pryor and Wendy Crissman’s Muhammad Ali N (Ricky Still), making his first start in two weeks, and Arty Foster’s Bolero Hanover (Eddie Davis, Jr.) have been sharp lately.

Crown Jewel (Jim King), owned by Peter Rhulen and Paton Racing, and Bill Camp’s Racing Naked (Kevin Sizer) have upset credentials.

Making his first local start is Gary Machiz and Barry Rubenstein’s Video Express (Travis Bowman).

Holly Tree Farms’ Speakeasy (Ryan McInnis) drops down into the $15,500 Delaware Winners Over Pace, facing a field of eight rivals.

The rest of the strong card includes three $30,000, two $25,000 and three $20,000 claiming paces.
