Solveig to be inducted into Living Horse Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame has announced that broodmare Solveig will be inducted into the Living Horse Hall of Fame, having met the qualifications for broodmares.

Solveig will be inducted along with Muscle Hill, Real Desire and broodmare Arl’s Troublemaker on Hall of Fame Day (Sunday, July 3). The ceremonies honoring these extraordinary Standardbred horses will take place during the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame’s annual dinner. Broodmare Solveig was foaled on May 18, 2002 in Lexington, Ky. Bred by Tom Crouch, Solveig raced from 2004 to 2007, earning $820,791. The progeny that qualified Solveig for the Hall of Fame are Shake It Cerry 3,1:51.2 ($2,497,785), Uncle Lasse 3,1:51.4f ($931,268) and Dontyouforgetit 3,1:52.1f ($598,049).

To date, Solveig has produced five colts and two fillies, with five starters and earnings of $4,336,865.
