Harrington, DE — John Cancelliere’s Special T Rocks ($4, Allan Davis) notched his sixth win of the year Monday (Sept. 7) at Harrington Raceway with a 1:51.3 victory in the featured $16,000 Open.

Special T Rocks was a 1:51.3 winner in the Open Pace.

The 7-year-old Rocknroll Hanover gelding fought off all comers in his front end triumph over Leyden and Mojo Terror. After assuming command at the quarter-mile, Special T Rocks was driven confidently to victory in recording his 32nd career win. Trained by Joe Hundertpfund, Special T Rocks boosted his lifetime earnings to more than $474,000. It was the second of three wins on the program for driver Davis.

Earlier on the program, Kevin Switzer’s Letsmakeawish ($3.20, Montrell Teague) won his fourth consecutive race in 1:52.2. Trained by his owner, Letsmakeawish is a 3-year-old son of Western Terror.

Jon Roberts and Victor Kirby each had a driving double.
