Nichols, NY — Horsemen are advised that entries for the Cane Pace card held Monday (Sept. 1) at Tioga Downs will be accepted until 9 a.m. (EDT) on Thursday (Aug. 28).

In addition to the 60th Cane Pace, the card features the Shady Daisy for 3-year-old pacing fillies and a Miss Versatility event for distaff trotters.

The Monday program will also carry five nine-horse Drivers’ Championship events, with Championship races receiving a 20 percent purse boost from the listed amount on the condition sheet.

Additionally, bonuses will be paid to each trainer who enters a horse used for the Drivers’ Championship, ranging from $100 to $500. Horses who finish sixth through ninth in Drivers’ Championship races will also earn $100.
