Springfield, IL — Races will be held at the Illinois State Fairgrounds on Tuesday (Oct. 11) at 11 a.m.

Conditions for these races are for 2-year-old, 3-year-old and 4-year-old and up Illinois bred horses. The total purse payout for the day will be $50,000.

Qualifiers will be held if needed.

Entry fees for Springfield based trainers will be $50 for purse races and $35 for qualifiers. Entry fees for non-Springfield based trainers will be $65 for purse races and qualifiers will be $50 per horse. Scratched horses will be responsible for their entry fee. All scratches must be reported to the race office in a timely manner.

All horses need a negative Coggins within one year and EHV vaccine within six months.
