Springfield, IL — Springfield Summer Preview races will be held at the Illinois State Fairgrounds on June 15, beginning at 11 a.m. The races will be for Illinois-bred 2-year-olds, and total purse payout for the day will be $20,000.

To enter, contact LeAnn Shinn by 10 a.m. on June 12 at 618.783.2589. Horses can also be entered online. Qualifiers will be held if needed.

Entry fees for purse races will be $65 and qualifiers will be $50 per horse. Connections of scratched horses will be responsible for their entry fees. All scratches must be reported to race office in a timely manner. All horses must have a negative Coggins within one year and proof of EHV vaccine within six months.
