SRF seeks auction items for May 1 online event

Cream Ridge, NJ — Standardbred Retirement Foundation has moved its annual auction to an earlier date in an effort to keep the horses fed during the pandemic. The annual social fundraisers are cancelled, but the the online auction is a go for May 1-5 and will have access through the website, www.AdoptaHorse.org.

In the past one could find anything from jewelry to golf trips, and SRF hopes it will be packed with a fabulous selection again. Donations are greatly appreciated, some ideas are sports memorabilia, theater tickets, art, racing items, golf packages, new riding tack, gift cards, fine wines, veterinary care, farrier services, whatever one’s imagination can think of, is greatly appreciated. It’s the perfect time to look through closets and drawers for items long forgotten about that would make a difference for the horses.

If you wish to help but don’t have an item, SRF can purchase one in your name and offer it on the auction, or bypass it all and help us feed these trotters and pacers with a tax-deductible donation at www.AdoptaHorse.org. Right now everything is going to feed and hay during this emergency situation.

On May 1 the auction can be accessed through our website.

Donations may be shipped to SRF, 42 Arneytown-Hornerstown Rd., Cream Ridge, NJ 08514. Gifts are tax-deductible. For questions please contact Tammy at 609.738.3255, or email SRFhorsesandkids@gmail.com.

SRF presently has 383 trotters and pacers under its expense and care. With the annual social fundraisers cancelled due to the pandemic, SRF is in great need of help and donations to feed the horses. Your generous support is greatly appreciated. Gifts are tax-deductible.
