SRF’s 25th charity golf outing set for May 23

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Millstone Township, NJ — Celebrating the 25th annual golf outing to benefit the Standardbred Retirement Foundation , this year has the most exciting opportunities for golfers, sponsors, and everyone who wants a chance at once in a lifetime fun.

New this year is the opportunity for every golfer to win $10,000, a set of Calloway golf clubs, a 50 inch ultra HD Smart TV, and much more. What that means is if every golfer gets a hole in one, every golfer wins!

The Million Dollar Shot is still the highlight, and new items are planned for the Best Bid that is open to anyone, whether with us on the greens or somewhere on the other side of the world; it is online once again. Items anticipated are Vegas trips; an Italian culinary cooking trip, yes, in Italy; an exotic sports car experience driving a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley and others in real world driving; a fishing trip to the Florida Keys; Jets vs. Giants tickets; veterinary services; rides in race track starting gate cars; hang out in the track announcer’s booth; sporting event tickets; gift certificates and so much more.

Bidding will start the week of May 15 and will continue into the event, keeping it open to everyone, everywhere.

Join us on the greens on in Manalapan, at Knob Hill Country Club on Tuesday (May 23); golf is just $195 per person if paid before May 8, and $215 if paid later. Cocktails are from 5:30-7 p.m. and a full buffet dinner is at 7 p.m. where golf prizes are awarded, the winner of the surround sound system door prize is pulled, the popular raffle is offered and the Best Bid winners announced.

For 28 years SRF has been helping horses and kids through its award winning programs. Whether your life is enriched by these horses as an owner, trainer, veterinarian, or by providing services or products, please join us in giving them a chance to move off the track and on to a new life when their days on the oval come to an end.

Whether you golf, prefer to join us for the fun at dinner, would like to donate an item or services for the event, would like to make a tax deductible gift, or be one of our very valued sponsors to help us make it a great success, we are very appreciative. Please contact Tammy at 732.446.4422, Admin@srfmail.com, or go to SRF’s website at www.AdoptaHorse.org.

SRF is 28 years old this year and is different from any other organization. Its mission helps Standardbreds exclusively, young, aged, injured, neglected or abused; provides lifetime follow-up for its more than 3,000 adoptions so no horse is ever at risk; and is feeding and caring for more than 200 trotters and pacers.
