SRF’s Prix d’Amerique trip raffle is ready

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Millstone Township, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s raffle to win a trip to the famous Prix d’Amerique race in Paris is anyone’s win.

The trip for two includes a five day/four night stay in Paris at a four star hotel, including sightseeing and city tours; a tour to Grosbois, the training center; cocktail parties; up to a $1,200 voucher for airfare; and the famous race, all during Jan. 25-29, 2018.

The trip starts with a city sightseeing tour of Paris to the Arch of Triumph, Place de la Concorde, Eiffel Tower and more, accompanied by an English speaking tour guide followed by a three-course dinner and French wine. You’ll visit Grosbois, the training center, it is like no other, and here the horse is king. People rave about it and say nothing else is quite like it. Spend a day at the races at Vincennes, what many call the most opulent harness track in the world. You can enjoy races of a variety of distances, all from a standing start. On race day join fans from all over the world for the big race.

You may also consider extending your trip by booking accordingly. All raffle ticket sales support the nearly 300 trotters and pacers SRF has under its full expense, as well as its youth programs. Different from every other organization, SRF supports this large number of horses on a daily basis, and has a follow up program in place since 1989, never leaving a horse who may be at risk, in a home that has lost interest or can no longer provide good care.

SRF needs help to continue to serve the horses that have served many and asks for support of this important fundraiser. For raffle tickets, or if you have questions contact SRF at SRFhorsesandkids@gmail.com or Tammy at 732.446.4422.
