Cat Manzi piloted Stacelita to a track record for trotting mares.

Driven by Hall of Famer Catello Manzi, Stacelita went to the front from third after a first quarter of :27.4 and cruised through fractions of :56.3 and 1:25 en route to her final clocking. The 6-year-old mare is a daughter of Angus Hall-Mischip, and is trained by her co-owner, Cito, Jr.

The victory was Stacelita’s ninth from 51 lifetime starts and pushed her career earnings to $116,318.

The previous Harrah’s Chester mark for filly and mare trotters of any age of 1:55.2 was set by 4-year-old Solveig on November 30, 2006.
