Ft. Washington, MD — Rosecroft Raceway will reduce the on-track commission on live racing to just one percent on Saturday nights during the month of August.

The promotion will entail higher payouts on all winning wagers placed on live harness racing held at the track.

Beginning next week, the live racing schedule will change from Monday evenings to Tuesdays; first post is set for 5:35 p.m. Saturday evening racing will continue as is, with post time set for 7:20 p.m.

“Owner for a night” promotion this Saturday

A special promotion for Rosecroft Raceway patrons will be held this Saturday, July 21, which will give eight lucky fans a chance at horse ownership for a race.

Entry forms will be given out at the grandstand gate beginning at 4:30 p.m., and the entry box will be located by the Winner’s Circle on the announcer’s table. Each of the contestants will receive two free admission passes to Rosecroft Raceway, along with a photo in the winner’s circle.
