Columbus, OH — Ohio State Fair racing action dominates the coming weekend at Eldorado Scioto Downs.

On Friday (July 29), the 3-year-old fillies will be in action. Two divisions of The Pride of Ohio Trot will be contested with Consolidator putting her perfect record in 2016 on the line in race two. Trained by Jim Arledge Jr., she comes in off a lifetime best 1:55.3 in Sire Stake action. On Friday, she will again have Eldorado Scioto Downs’ current leading driver Chris Page in the bike and will take on six talented rivals.

Three divisions of The Ohio First Lady Pace will be contested for the sophomore filly pacers. In race 13, Crazy Bad K, who has dominated on the Ohio County Fair circuit attempts to step up into the big time. Trained by Sherri Holiday and driven by Aaron Merriman, the daughter of Big Bad John looks to translate her recent success by taking on some of the best fillies in the division.

Saturday’s action will feature the 3-year-old colts, both on the pace in The Director of Agriculture Pace and the trot in The Governor’s Cup Trot.

First post time for both Friday (July 29) and Saturday (July 30) is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. (EDT).
