Columbus, OH — The Independence Day Holiday Weekend promises to be action packed at Eldorado Scioto Downs. Ohio Sire Stakes action will highlight each of the three holiday weekend race cards. On Friday Evening, July 1, the 3-year-old filly trotters will take center stage. First post time for Friday’s 13-race card is n 6:30 p.m. Eastern.

On Saturday, July 2, 3-year-old filly pacers will head up the action on the racetrack. Four division of the ladies will do battle, each for a $40,000 purse on the powerhouse 14-Race card with a first post time of 6:30 p.m. Eastern.

On Monday July, 4 an Eldorado Scioto Downs tradition continues with afternoon racing on Independence Day. The Ohio Sired 2-year-old colts get their first taste of stakes action, with divisions carded on both the Pace and the Trot. Post Time for the first race will be at 2 p.m. Eastern.
