Stall application available for Oak Ridge

by Craig Andow

Kenbridge, VA —We are attempting to run a harness meet at Oak Ridge Race Track in Arrington, Va., on Oct. 10-11 and 17-18.

This will be the second time since 2001 we are having a harness meet at this historical track built by the late John Holland Jr. and family.

We will be hosting the Virginia Breeders races for 2- and 3-year-olds, eliminations and finals. Plus, we will try to get support for the following series events. If not we will write a condition sheet for all horses after Sept. 12.

We hope to see you all. Especially the Virginia owned, bred and sired of past years and people who’ve supported us. We will need everyone’s support for this re-opening. Minimum purses for series and overnights will be $4,000 to as high as $7,000.

The stall application is available to print and must be received on or before Sept. 12 (limited stalls are available).

If you need to contact me, call 551.204.1796.
