Nichols, NY — Tioga and Vernon Downs would like to remind all horsemen that stall applications close on March 9, and both the Tioga and Vernon backstretches open for the 2012 race season on April 1.

For the first time, both tracks’ applications can be completed and submitted electronically under their respective racing tabs on their websites.

Vernon Downs kicks off its 90-day race meet on Friday (April 27), with Tioga Downs beginning its 61-day race meet on Kentucky Derby Day, Saturday (May 5).
