Suzanne D’Ambrose talked about harness racing and her horse, Independent Act.

D’Ambrose, a high school teacher, talked about how horses race and train and showed photos of the horse she calls “Indy” from his racing days.

Brochures and coloring books from the USTA were distributed to about 20 people who attended on a very rainy night.

Now a successful show horse, Independent Act will appear at a “meet and greet” at the Shrewsbury branch of the library on Thursday (June 21) at 11 a.m.

Rain date is June 28.
