State Treasurer makes big move up in this week’s Poll

Freehold, NJ — State Treasurer moved into the No. 2 spot in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, up two positions from a week ago, following his win in the Canadian Pacing Derby at Mohawk Racetrack last weekend.
Another Mohawk stakes winner, Metro Pace champion Control The Moment, joined the Top 10. Control The Moment, a 2-year-old male pacer who is undefeated in seven races, entered the rankings at No. 8.
Wiggle It Jiggleit, who was idle, remained No. 1. Pinkman, who was placed fifth in the Yonkers Trot, dropped from second to fourth in the ratings. Mission Brief remained third.
Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
