Stoletheshow strikes again

A month ago, 7-year-old Norwegian trotter Stoletheshow won the Oslo Grand Prix. Sunday afternoon (July 11) Stoletheshow, with trainer/driver Frode Hamre, was victorious again, winning the Ulf Thoresen Grand International at the Jarlsberg track in Norway.

Stoletheshow was in command the whole trip and though German trotter Officer Stephen (he by Pastor Stephen) tried to attack around the last bend, Stoletheshow showed him off and won the 1-5/16th mile event easily in 1:54f (mile rate).

The purse for the winner was $70,000.

Stoletheshow is sired by Dream Vacation and out of Abba Hall, she by Garland Lobell. This was win number 20 from 63 starts.

After the race Stoletheshow was invited to race in the Aabergs Memorial, a group 1 mile race with a purse for the winner of $160,000, at Jägersro later this month.
