Monticello, NY — For the second time in the past two weeks, 20-year-old Jordan “the Kid” Stratton has driven four winners on a Monticello Raceway card.

His latest accomplishment came on Monday afternoon, March 10.

“The Kid” began his assault in the second race when he guided Gary Tecler and Priscilla Harris’ trotter Goodly Chip ($27.80) to a 2:03.3 triumph and then followed that with another winner in the third race when he reined John Washington’s Covert Lady ($19.00) home first in a time of 2:03.2.

Stratton then won the fifth with Mary Beauregard’s Chocolate Sable ($8.50) in a 2:00.3 clocking and his final triumph of the day came in race number 10 behind Mark Dumain’s Dream Around Johny ($16.40) when they stopped the timer at 2:02.1.

Stratton, who is the epitome of a rising star, is currently in second place behind Bruce Aldrich, Jr. on the Mighty M leaderboard with 54 winners here thus far this season. His seasonal total of 77 ranks him 19th best in North America.
