Streaking Harmon steeds highlight Saturday Meadowlands card

East Rutherford, NJ — The Meadowlands Saturday night (March 4) feature is the $15,000 final of a Dash For The G-Note dual leg pacing series. It is the evening’s fourth race.

Among the eight leg winners leading into Saturday’s final, only Harmon Racing Stable’s Prince Palani was able to repeat. The wagering choice in both of his scores, Prince Palani was able to convert a couple of brilliant steers by driver Jimmy Marohn Jr. into convincing victories. The possibility of yet another winning trip is enhanced by his drawing the coveted rail position in Saturday’s final. The team behind Prince Palani is a family affair as Harmon Racing consists of the husband and wife team of Rob and Patti.

Also on the bill is an $18,000 conditioned pace where Team Harmon sends out the streaking Jacksrluckytoo in quest of his third straight win. Marohn is again at the controls of this deep closer who has been tracking foes like a guided missile lately resulting in a hit to the wire first in half of his eight seasonal starts.

Jacksrluckytoo made many smiles with his successful February run as he was part of the popular Own A Horse contest, earning his temporary owners three trips to the winner’s circle.

The 12-race program begins at 7:15 p.m.
