Saratoga Springs, NY — Stylish Beachwhere (Somebeachsomewhere) moved her record to three-for-four since coming to Saratoga Casino Hotel with a victory in Wednesday’s (Aug. 23) $18,000 Fillies and Mares Open.

Stylish Beachwhere was a 1:53 winner on Wednesday.

The Jackie Greene-trained distaffer came first over in a race that saw first half fractions of :26.4 and :55.3 put up by Godiva Seelster (Wally Hennessey). Stylish Beachwhere took over turning for home and by the time the favored Little Santamonica (Jim Devaux) could get free in the passing lane, Stylish Beachwhere had the jump on her.

The 4-year-old mare recorded her second victory in three tries in the local feature by stopping the timer in 1:53. Little Santamonica was the runner-up while Godiva Seelster earned the show spot.

Stylish Beachwhere paid $7.00 to win in a very evenly bet feature and led an exacta and triple that came back $21 and $69.50, respectively. She was driven to victory by Frank Coppola Jr. who piloted three winners on the card, two of which came while driving for Greene.
