Saratoga Springs, NY — Due to extreme temperatures and a forecasted heat index of 110, in the best interests of equine and human safety, Saratoga Casino Hotel has canceled live racing for Sunday (July 1).

There will still be a draw in the morning for Friday (July 6), box closes at 9 a.m.

Live racing will resume on Tuesday (July 3) with a special 5 p.m. post time. The 13-race card will be followed by a fireworks display in celebration of Independence Day.
