Super Bowl Series continues at Meadowlands

Columbus, OH — Six divisions were contested in the second leg of the Super Bowl Trotting Series on Wednesday everning (Jan. 13) at The Meadowlands.

Beautiful Legacy was a half-length winner in the fastest Super Bowl Series division.

The fastest $12,500 division went to Wayne Lynch’s Beautiful Legacy who rallied in the lane to post a 1:55.3 victory at odds of 11-1. Daniel Dube was in the bike for trainer Jackie MacLeod as the 4-year-old Windsong’s Legacy-Armbro Accolade mare won by a half-length over D Lee More (Andy Miller). Little Creek Vic (Tim Tetrick) was third.

The other five divisions were captured by Bulletproof Enterprises’ Clear The Air (Like A Prayer-Eye For The Prize) in 1:57.3 for driver George Brennan and trainer Sam Fava; Burke Racing Stable, Howard Taylor, and Weaver Bruscemi LLC’s Aachoo (Keystone Nordic-Shovey’s Lovey) in 1:56.1 for driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Ron Burke; August Miedel’s Scotch And Caviar (SJ’s Caviar-Dalwhinnie) in 1:56.4 for driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Trond Smedshammer; Scott West’s Play Right (Kadabra-Poetry) in 1:56.1 for driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Anthony Montini; and Steve Smith’s Custom Tag (Tagliabue-Custom Yankee) in 1:58.1 for driver Steve Smith and trainer Karen Garland.
