Super Bowl, White Ruffles Series continue at Meadowlands

East Rutherford, NJ — Meadowlands Racetrack featured five divisions of the Super Bowl series for trotters and two divisions of the White Ruffles for pacing mares on Thursday (Jan. 19).
The fastest of the five $12,500 Super Bowl divisions for 4-year-old trotters went to Dontevenknowmymame in a time of 1:55.4.
Eric Abbatiello was in the bike for trainer Owen Eiler, Jr. as the daughter of Master Lavec-Hello Mamie scored by four lengths over Big Sky Hurricane with Lady Love Hanover third.
The other divisional winners of the Super Bowl were:
- Psyched, Daniel Dube; 1:58.2
- Buzz Bomb, Jim Meittinis; 1:57
- Aladin As, Ron Pierce; 1:57.3
- My Man, Yannick Gingras; 1:56.1
In the White Ruffles Series for 4-year-old pacing mares, Andy Miller guided Cruzin Angel, the 4-year-old daughter of Yankee Cruiser-Ruffians Angel, to a 1:53.2 win over Crazyboutdadrummer and Gray Olives.
The other $12,500 White Ruffles division went to Miss Behave (Dags-Miss Megan E) in a time of 1:53.4 for driver Brian Sears. Devine Filly finished second with Look Annie Hall third.
