Super Hi-5 payout clarification at The Raceway

from WFD Media

London, ON — There was some confusion surrounding the payout of Tuesday night’s (Oct. 10) sixth race Super Hi-5 wager at The Raceway at Western Fair District.

The Super Hi-5 finish order was 2-3-8-4-6 but was made official with the fifth place finisher inadvertently left off the running order and the payout was posted on a combination of 2-3-8-4-All.

However, when the winning Super Hi-5 combination at The Raceway is not sold it should result in a 100 percent carryover of the net pool, thus causing confusion among patrons.

Tote officials were able to re-price the race and the corrected payout on the winning combination — which was 2-3-8-4-6 — was $456.66 for a 20-cent ticket. Most of the winning tickets were sold online through HPIbet.com and officials were able to make the correction to those accounts.

There was in fact a carryover on the night’s late Super Hi-5 of just over $6,800 which will go into the early Super Hi-5 pool this Friday night.
